Our weekend

We had a fun filled weekend. Friday night and Saturday we spent some time at some basketball games. There was a tournament in town and we got the chance to watch my cousin Jackson Knopp play on the Burley boy's team, my cousin Chancey Knopp play on the Burley girl's team, and both Hank and Baylee Allsop play for the Kimberly teams. It was a lot of fun.

Saturday evening we had the Allsops over for pizza, NCAA final four games, and tennis. It was a nice night, perfect for tennis.

On Sunday we had our good good friends the Lemieuxs come and visit from Washington. We were so excited for them to get here. We put together a little BBQ and day of fun with some of the people they knew from around here. We had hamburger and hot dogs with lots of sides, and hung out and visited. Then we walked over to the park and had a couple of tennis tournaments. Everyone had such a great time. We played until about 8:30 and then everyone left except for the Lemieuxs who were staying the night. We put the kids to bed and stayed up talking until after one in the morning. It was so great to catch up with them and spend time with them. They left around eleven this morning and then Kayden had his first soccer game tonight in the cold cold wind. Overall......GREAT WEEKEND!!

This was the winning team of the first tournament - Ben & Steph

These are some pictures of our evening after everyone else left.

Sounds like you had a fun weekend! Aren't friends the greatest? We'd be so bored without them! And just so you know, on any given day, you will find J.R. wearing something Cowboys (even now in the off season). He is completely obsessed with them. Good to hear there are some other fans out there, too.

Thanks for a fun Sunday! We enjoyed it! I think I am actually getting a little better at tennis! But that is still not saying much!
