Ori's 4th Birthday

I can't believe my little Ori Clyde is four years old. We are celebrating his birthday on Saturday with a party, but you can't expect a four year old to understand that his birthday is on one day but he doesn't get presents until another day. So we gave him the presents from us on his birthday. Aunt Amber also showed up with a bunch of balloons for Ori and he thought that was pretty cool.

We also told him that since it was "his day" that he could pick what we had for dinner. He thought about it for a few moments and then said....waffles. So all day we were planning on waffles for dinner for Ori's birthday, and then about 30 minutes before dinner time he changed his mind. He decided he wanted tacos instead. Of course I didn't have everything at the house for tacos....so mom made a quick trip to the store and picked up the remaining ingredients we needed for tacos. We had a great meal together as a family and then Daddy let the boys stay up late and watch a new cartoon (Meet The Robinsons) with him before we tucked them in bed. It was a fun day but he is still looking forward to Saturday.
