A little summer left....

It is so weird having Kayden in school all day. It is amazing how much easier things are with only two children around, and it is going to be even crazier when Ori starts preschool after Labor Day. Jaycee and I will not know what to do with just the two of us home.

The weather has been so nice that we are trying to take advantage of the last little bit of summer left. I have been trying to go on a bike ride with Ori and Jaycee everyday. They love it and it is good exercise for mom. Yesterday Regie stayed with us for a bit and all four of us went on a bike ride together. Ori looks like such a big boy riding a bigger bike now, they are growing up too fast.

Yesterday the Budweiser Semis came to town to celebrate Watkins 20th Anniversary here in Twin. They had all the Clydesdale horses hooked up and were only a couple of blocks from our house, so I decided to run the kids by so they could see it.

Fall soccer is starting again. Last night Kayden had his first practice. His best friend's dad David is coaching again which is nice and he has now played with a lot of these same kids for 3 seasons now. It is so cool to see them grow together and get better and better. Here are a few pics from his first practice.

Ori saw me taking pictures of Kayden practicing (by the way, sorry about the bad shadow of the trees) and decided he needed a picture too. He said "Mom, take a picture of me posing like this" as he put his foot up on the ball. How cute is that? Then Jaycee thought she needed one to and did exactly what she just watched her older brother do. TOO CUTE!!
