A peek into our busy lives.

One of my favorite things about this time of year is our Sunday afternoons. I love getting together with friends and family, watching FOOTBALL, eating great food, and having family bonding time.

This is one of our most recent Sundays. The Cederberg family came and spent the day with us. Jaycee and Regie had a great time playing together...

The boys watched some football... The younger boys played all day with some of Ori's new birthday toys...
Amber worked on a puzzle (with help from Troy later).... The kids got in some wrestle time with dad...(check out the picture on the television in the background...I couldn't have timed that any better! :)

And I studied for my test, did a little laundry, and enjoyed our company. We had roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, and rolls for dinner. I love having family close by and cousins around for my kids to grow up with.

This is how Ori ended his day.....fast asleep, cuddled up next to dad watching Sunday night football.

We have been very busy with Scouts, but Kayden sure does enjoy it. He has earned lots of segments, patches, and beads. Lucky for us, we have Grandma Helen to help us sew them all on.

Two weeks ago Kayden was so proud to help with the flag ceremony for his meeting.

Last night at the Pack meeting Kayden was asked to have a speaking part. He was the only Tiger cub asked to speak but his Den Leader knew he could do it and he did and awesome job!

Then later in the evening he was awarded with three more beads and one more segment. He has really been working hard in scouts.
At the end of the evening each scout got to take an ornament and say what they are thankful for this time of year and then hang their ornament on the tree. Most kids got up there and said presents, friends, etc. Kayden stood up in front and as loud and proud as can be announced that he is thankful for his FAMILY!! The whole crowd went AWWWWWWW, I was a very proud mom sitting in the front row looking at my son growing up so fast.
